[UNIT2-2] go up, go down

●go up KEY WORD「上方」

ある主体(主語)が、「上方」の位置関係に進むということだ。それが温度なら「上昇する」、火なら「燃え上がる」ということになる。

　　　The monkey is going up the tree.
　　　そのサルは木を昇っている

●go down KEY WORD「下方」

ある主体(主語)が、「下方」の位置関係に進むということだ。それが価格なら「下がる」、風なら「おさまる」ということになる。下の例文ではこう言った主体も木に登っていることになる。

　　　Go down the tree.
　　　木から降りなさい
